Just recently finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Hopefully this rendition of Edward Elric gives the love I got for the series justice.

With this piece, I wanted to capture Ed's character and personality, not just his physical characteristics. The automail arm broken, him battered and bleeding, yet with a determined look and a grin, he's still ready to fight. That's what I loved about the Elric brothers. Throughout the series, they were thrown in situations that would break people (let alone the fact that they're still kids!) I wanted to portray that strong and fiery ambition of one of the main characters through this image.
